Memphis Blast Host Thoroughbreds For Preseason Game

Memphis, Tenn – The Memphis Blast has announced today the team will host a preseason home game against the Western Kentucky Thoroughbreds on Saturday, April 29. The game will be played at Charles Greenhill Stadium in Memphis, TN.

Kick-off between the Blast and Thoroughbreds is set for 4 p.m. The game is one of two on the preseason schedule as the team prepares for the 2017 regular season; the Blast will also host the Missouri Cyclones on May 6th.

“Memphis Blast fans have plenty to look forward to this year, from in-game experience to the talent on the field,” said Charles Thompson, Memphis Blast President and CEO. “We are prepped and enthusiastic about the 2017 season.”

Single-game tickets for the 2017 regular season are on sale now. The Memphis Blast will host their first regular season home game of the 2017 season on May 20 at 4:00 p.m.,when the team hosts Tennessee Lightning Bolts. This season’s games include 10 weekend dates – ten Saturdays . Additional highlights include a visit by the 2015 GDFL National Champions Nashville Storm on Saturday, July 8, and the Blast will travel to the 2016 National Champions Oklahoma Thunder on Saturday, May 13th.
