Idol Contestant Makes Xplosion Sideline

Memphis, Tenn – Fans will enjoy pregame festivities this season as the Memphis Blast will have an official professional singer on the gridiron. Every home game this season, one of the Xplosion Cheer and Dance Team members, Gabbie will be on the 50 yard line singing the National Anthem.

Gabbie is a Memphis native and was born to sing and dance the blues. “From the time I was old enough to walk; I have danced,” said Gabbie. “And as I was getting older, singing got involved and its been a passion ever since,” she stated. So throughout her life, Gabbie has made dancing and singing her number one focus, despite the obvious; God, family, and of course education.

By the time she was a senior in high school, it was clear Gabbie would focus the rest of her life as a professional singer and dancer. In the summer of 2010, Gabbie decided to take her talents to a local mall in Memphis and sing through auditions for America’s top television show, American Idol. After the competition rounds before entering the American Idol judges,

Gabbie knew then she would be caught up into singing and dancing the rest of her life. Since her time with the American Idol productions team, Gabbie went on to other American Reality show,

The Voice, in the summer of 2011. Today, Gabbie is currently working on album tracks for a new upcoming Disney star, and dancing her talents on the sidelines with the rest of the Xplosion. While not singing and dancing to the beats of the Xplosion, Gabbie focuses on working and settling down. “My dream is to be married by the time I am 23,” she stated. “And future goals would be to have four children, two from the man of her dreams, and two adopted form a third world country,” she added.

“But until that day happens; I’m just going to enjoy the show, and cheer the Memphis Blast Pro Development football to victory every Saturday night,” she finished. The office and staff of the Memphis Blast will welcome Gabbie to the roster with open arms this 2014 season.
